Director of Power Management IC Design
Requirements of the Role:
Qorvo is seeking a Director of Power IC Design to lead our RTP, NC-based power management IC design team. This leader needs to have a unique mix of skills and experience.
They will work with the product lines business leaders to set both tactical and strategic direction for the design organization. They must be able to communicate with both internal and external customers.
They must have demonstrated experience with organizing a large team of skilled power management IC designers to deliver technically challenging products on schedule.
This candidate should have extensive experience with high-voltage (such as 40V to 150V) power management ICs, including DC/DC regulators and controllers, ideally including some with low quiescent current (IQ).
The candidate must be familiar with designing power management ICs on variety of process technologies, such as BCD, BiCMOS, and CMOS.
They must also have demonstrated experience leading a team of IC layout engineers.
The candidate will have designed power management products for a variety of end markets, including automotive, communications, and industrial segments.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 25years of power management and analog IC design experience
Minimum of 15years of analog and power IC design leadership experience
Master of Science in Electrical Engineeringfrom an accredited university
