Actalent Controls Engineer in Greenville, Michigan
Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to join our team. Our main focus is building the tooling and testing for exhaust systems. You will join a team of 10 other Control Engineers where each subset of the team is responsible for handling a specific customer. Your primary responsibilities will include writing PLC code from scratch for new customer machines and programming Fanuc robots.
Typical work hours will be around 45 hours per week, which may reach up to 55 hours during peak times.
Flexible hours
You should expect 15-25% travel, which is always pre-scheduled and does not include weekends.
Travel will mostly be domestic, with occasional trips to Canada and Mexico.
Hard Skills
Programming from scratch in Allen Bradley PLC
Proficiency in programming Fanuc Robots
Ability to read/red line in AutoCAD electrical
Soft Skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to travel and adapt to different work environments
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Greenville, Michigan.
