Spectrum Sr Producer/Editor, Multimedia in Greenwood Village, Colorado

As a Senior Multimedia Producer/Editor , you'll create and refine video content, overseeing every aspect from shooting to editing. Your autonomy allows you to deliver compelling stories that elevate the Charter brand. With a keen eye for detail, you'll curate engaging content for both internal and external audiences, effectively reaching them across various websites and social media platforms.

WHAT OUR SENIOR MULTIMEDIA PRODUCERS/EDITORS ENJOY MOST

  • Creating and developing multimedia content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external social videos, recruiting videos, corporate training, and other enterprise-wide projects

  • Scripting, storyboarding, producing, conducting interviews, shooting, and editing videos to meet client and creative vision

  • Liaising with internal clients and the Editorial Team to determine multimedia needs and specifications

  • Managing shoots independently or in partnership with the Multimedia Director both in the studio and in the field

  • Creating graphics independently or with the support of designers and animators

  • Optimizing video content for internal/external syndication and social sharing, and making recommendations for improvement

  • Providing a steady stream of video content pitches

  • Researching new concepts and best practices

  • Meeting deadlines to ensure projects are completed on schedule

  • Supporting the development of strategies to accomplish department goals

  • Ensuring all creative work adheres to Charter's standards and builds the brand

  • Performing other requested duties.

As a valuable member of our Internal Communications team, your primary objective will be to effectively manage and enhance Charter’s internal interactions. With a strong focus on facilitating effective communication and timely responses, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with various internal stakeholders, including employees and management. Your efforts will be instrumental in promoting and upholding our company's brand, reputation, and values within the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 7+ years Film and/or video content production experience

  • College coursework in Communications or equivalent work experience

  • Working knowledge of the production process for local content, including studio set-up, remote production, editing and post-production

  • Expertise in operating consumer and prosumer production cameras (e.g. Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro, Cancon C300 and C100, Sony FS7 and FS5, Panasonic GH5)

  • Expertise in the latest versions of video editing software, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Adobe Premiere expertise required.

  • Knowledge of After Effects and other Creative Cloud components preferred)

  • Expertise in color and sound correction for film and video

  • Expertise in balancing, framing and lighting for video concepts

  • Expertise in script writing, storyboarding and creating shot sheets for film, video and audio production

  • Knowledge of current social media trends and the ability to create engaging short-form videos for different social media platforms

  • Ability to communicate with employees, customers and suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to work while standing 50-70% of time

  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems while working under pressure

  • Advertising agency, creative services experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
