Shift Manager (Full-Time)

Gulfport Luxury RV Resort is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our resort during designated shifts. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across all departments, maintaining excellent guest services, and leading a team of front desk agents, housekeeping, bar, café, and other daily resort activities. Ideal candidate will be customer focused, highly motivated, detail oriented, and possess strong communication skills. The Shift Manager will report directly to the General Manager. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
[]{#_Hlk140083425}· Supervise and manage the resort's front desk, guest services, and other departments during the assigned shift.
· Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
· Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues in a timely manner.
· Monitor and ensure that all resort procedures are followed according to company standards.
· Coordinate between departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage, to ensure seamless operations.
· Perform administrative duties, including reporting and assisting with staff schedules.
· Upsell hotel services, events, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
· Assist in staff training and development to promote a high-performing team.
· Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, processing payments, and providing information on resort amenities.
· Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
· Oversee inventory control and manage stock levels for supplies and equipment.
· Ensure the proper security procedures are followed for guest safety and security.
· Perform cashier duties for camp store and replenish merchandise as needed.

Education/Experience
· Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
· Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
· Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems efficiently.
· Familiarity with hotel management software and POS systems is advantageous.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.

Qualifications
· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
· Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
· Must be able to pass an extensive background check, fingerprint analysis, and drug test prior to employment.
· Ability to obtain a Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Identification Card/Certification prior to employment.
· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
· Comfortable using a personal cell phone for resort business, if necessary.
