Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Shipping/Logistics Analyst in Hackensack, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of goods in and out of the company, maintaining accurate inventory records, and overseeing the packing and shipping of products. This role is vital in ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Verifying items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.
· Documenting items received by recording identifying information.
· Transferring orders received by routing or delivering items to the requesting department.
· Replacing damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortages.
· Receiving credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials; placing materials in inventory.
· Preparing shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers.
· Determining method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment.
· Shipping items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items.
· Documenting items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.
· Delivering items on occasion.
· Forklift Certified
Requirements
Full understanding of inventory management
Highly organized

Superstar personality & work ethic
MUST have a clean driving record
Shipping & Receiving: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
Forklift Certification (Required)
Work Location: In person
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
