Eaton’s Energy Automation Solutions division is currently seeking a Product Owner, Demand Response. This position will be located at our Eaton India Innovation Center, Pune
Eaton’s Demand Response solution is used by electric utilities to manage system demand in response to the availability of generation. Utilities will interact with Eaton’s demand response software to manage Eaton control equipment connected to customer loads throughout the service territory. The deployed load control equipment utilizes edge intelligence to optimize the reduction of load.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Required
• 10+ years of experience working directly with Agile teams on complex software/firmware projects across departments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering software projects, acting as a product owner or project manager.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing clear and concise user stories, functional and non-functional requirements incorporating Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
Skills:
Exceptional ability to lead, collaborate, openly communicate, influence others, present and negotiate effectively across disciplines and stakeholders (marketing, engineering, customer support, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of Agile frameworks (i.e., Scrum, Kanban).
Experience in Requirement Management tools like Jira & Confluence and collaboration tools like Micro board is required.
Experience in running the Design Thinking activities and should be able to manage Product Lifecycle, Analytical Skill, Stakeholders collaboration and Agile & Scrum Mastery.
Experience presenting to Customers & Leaders, and experience in saying 'No' when required.
In-depth knowledge of Agile project management principles or PMP (or similar) certification.
Experience working with customers and stakeholders in Utility Enterprise Software Platforms.
Working knowledge of system design methodologies and interdependencies of intelligent edge devices and Enterprise Software Platform.
Experience aligning hardware product and enterprise software design and development.
Knowledge of the electric utility industry
Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, with the ability to work independently and be a self-starter, working multi-task on several initiatives at one time, in a fast moving and evolving business.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, delegate within team, and ability to work under deadlines.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
