Job Title: Aircraft Inspector
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 months)
Location: Haltom City, TX 76137
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First shift 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Due to Government regulations this position is only open to US Citizen candidates
Job Description:
Responsible for conducting daily startup audits of books and gears in Final Inspection.
Review documents to verify that all sign offs and inspections are complete to progress to next steps.
Perform product inspection tasks per inspection procedures
Record inspection activities
Authorize product acceptance based on product documentation and company workmanship criteria
Document product discrepancies per company procedures
Disposition product non-conformances as approved
Assist QA Engineering in Corrective Action follow-up
Prioritize product inspection per schedule needs
Use proper inspection methods & equipment (inspection hand tools, surface plate, etc.)
Assist QA Engineering in developing and refining inspection methods and procedures
Support multiple product lines and/or commodities
Perform product & quality system audits
Qualifications:
A&P certification
Previous aircraft parts inspection experience
Landing Gear assembly experience
Aircraft parts manufacturing experience
GD&T understanding
Ability to interpret design data (blueprints, BOM’s, etc.)
HS Diploma
Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
