WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00pm

FLSA Status: Exempt

MANUFACTURING PROCESSES DUTIES:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods, equipment, and new technologies; conferring with equipment vendors.

  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods and control systems; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes; yielding in maximum efficiency.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing corrective action for nonconforming parts.

  • Manage overall project management for the team.

OTHER ENGINEERING DUTIES:

  • Programming of machine and measuring equipment; investigating programming equipment failures; diagnosing faulty operations; providing solutions.

  • Proactively analyze, identify, and enact procedures and/or processes to resolve production problems and/or minimize cost.

  • Design of Manufacturing Equipment Fixturing, Tooling, and Gauging Design. Machine Programming, Quality Engineering process design, and implementation. Customer Blue-Print interpretation and internal print design and creation.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Education

Required

  • Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineer
