LOPAREX LLC Process Engineer in HAMMOND, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Loparex is the world\'s leading developer and producer of specialty paper and film release liners. This position is located at our Hammond, Wisconsin site, east of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. We are excited to share we are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team! In this role, our Process Engineer will assist and guide product runs on our machines by working with the Area Manager and machine operators to drive efficiency and develop process improvements. What you\'ll do: * Decide on process disposition of non-conforming product * Establish database and systems to facilitate use and manipulation of quality data * Data systems design and work toward improvement of existing databases and systems * Lead successful startup and implementation of new or modified equipment * Work toward process optimization (including but not limited to waste, OEE, Quality) * Complete statistical analysis of large amounts of data * Lead plant trials * Responsible for contributing to the production of a quality product by performing work according to directions and making suggestions to improve all manufacturing processes * Complete projects assigned by supervisor of the department * Thoroughly understand product quality expectations and keys to product quality for both customer and supplier products Additional responsibilities include: * Assist with the following: * Customer complaint resolution * Acceptance of customer, internal, raw stock specifications, and quality/ process standards * Development of new products and processes * Resolution of process and equipment problems * Training team members * Implementation of corrective and preventative action plan * Serve as a Quality Mentor * Work with other team members in other projects as deemed necessary What you\'ll bring: * B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry or 4 years related degree * Prior experience as a Process Engineer, or related experience in coating and/or web handling techniques * Strong mathematical and computer skills * Problem solving skills and team concept training * A strong background and interest in statistical equality control and database management * Knowledge of statistical techniques including: SPC, design or experiments, and quality improvement systems. * Excellent communication skills with all functions in the plant and with the global organization We are proud to offer you: * A highly competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, company-paid life insurance and STD, and many other unique voluntary benefit options * 10 paid holidays (yes, including the Day After Thanksgiving!) * Tuition reimbursement * Wellness incentives and discounts to encourage the health, safety and wellness of all of our employees * An onsite cafeteria with daily lunch specials, full salad bar, and many other menu options * Clothing and uniform allowances and/or reimbursements * Collaborative work environment We are an equal opportunity employer.
