RM Steel, LLC Construction Laborers in Hancock, Minnesota

Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Construction Laborers to work at locations in Stevens, Grant, Swift, Douglas, Otter Tail, Big Stone, Wilkin, Todd, Traverse, and Lac Qui Parle Counties in Minnesota. From: 07/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 10 hrs./day. 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The employer will pay 1.5 times the hourly rate of $26.03 (or $39.05 per hour) for overtime work after 40 hours per week. The employer may request, but will not require workers to work evenings, weekends, and/or national holidays and workers will be paid overtime (or $39.05 per hour) for working during those non-mandatory times. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 09/16/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: General labor help with the assembly of grain processing equipment including grain legs, conveyors, towers, and grain dumping pits. Duties include welding, fabricating, and repairing grain handling and storage equipment, and pouring concrete for grain bins and other farm structures. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Workers will be trained in all areas and do not need experience or training. Knowledge of and experience with farm equipment and tools is preferred. Must be able to lift over 75 lbs. Must be able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
