Zebra’s Program Managers are responsible for the successful launch of Zebra’s products and solutions

by indirectly leading cross-functional teams to achieve Zebra’s goals. As a Program Manager, you will

collect, interpret, and deliver feedback and status, hold the core team accountable for deliverables, and delegate assignments while staying on schedule and budget. This role will seat in the Network Execution team under the Product Operations department.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts independently to generate the project plan for projects of moderate to significant scope. May lead multiple limited to moderate scope projects simultaneously or manage a large program directly

  • Uses established tools, approaches / methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicate it to the team.

  • Nominate and solicits the participation of team members from key stakeholders.

  • Responsible for all aspects of program planning and execution with limited management oversight needed

  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring program completion, i.e., product on schedule

and within budget constraints. Owns regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress.

  • Demonstrates the ability to see cross-functional impacts of decisions, project plans, and

execution. Balances scope, schedule, and budget considerations to adjust the project

with minimal impact to the business with limited manager oversight. Understands the

program’s business objectives and assumes personal accountability for program success

against the objectives.

  • Gathers status updates from the project team and interprets inputs from the team to

assemble a consolidated view of status. Provides regular status updates to senior

management as directed. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone

achievement before moving the program forward.

  • Engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles/delays with limited

manager oversight. Adjusts the plan per mgmt. guidelines as delays/obstacles are

experienced. Escalates more complex issues to mgmt. for assistance.

  • Establishes & manages timelines and budgets autonomously

  • Demonstrates baseline proficiency in all PM techniques. Utilizes PM tools & techniques

in scheduling & staffing plans with an understanding of task duration and dependencies.

Develops comprehensive risk management plans.

  • Demonstrates proficiency with all development processes and product launch scope

and activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum Work Experience (years):

o 3+ years

• Key Skills and Competencies:

▪ Ability to present, communicate, and facilitate effectively to peers and senior managers

▪ Proficient in MS Office or similar

▪ Comfortable and experienced in delegating and requesting follow-up

• Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
