The Lead Estimator for Major Projects mentors and gives direction to Estimators, reviews and prepares job estimates and bids, develops job schedules and forecasts, completes take-offs, conducts site reviews, and interacts with customers related to the project. This position works and negotiates with potential subcontractors during the estimating phase. This individual will work closely with the Estimating Manager and Project Management team to ensure customer needs are being met and jobs are being awarded.

WHAT IT TAKES?
10+ years of related experience and/or training
Negotiation and contract review experience
Utility construction experience with 230kV and up
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
Solid Microsoft Office experience, with advanced knowledge of Excel
Travel is required. Travel may account for up to 25% to 50% of the time
