Position Summary:

Come experience what Harrison, Idaho has to offer while working on beautiful Lake Coeur d\'Alene. Will need to perform any combination of the essential duties and responsibilities of marina construction and floating dock construction and installation. Successful candidates will be required to participate in a pre-employment drug screening per our Drug Free Workplace policy (THC is no longer tested for in pre-employment drug screenings). Occasional travel throughout the Northwestern United States is available with incentives, as we do work for many national parks. Temporary housing may be available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs construction of marinas by building or installing floating docks in the water per blueprint specifications and per direction of Crew Lead and/or Construction Project Manager;
  • Repair of Existing docks and marinas, and uses necessary hand and power tools;
  • Operates small boat in a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner;
  • Comfortable in, on, and around the water;
  • Operates equipment and machinery in a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner;
  • Follows and applies safety rules and techniques;
  • Reports any problems with construction duties to supervisor;
  • May operate forklift to transport materials; places and aligns floats into correct order and position, follows blueprint specifications or direction of Crew Lead;
  • Uses hardware, such as bolts, washers, rods, lumber, and uses necessary hand and power tools;
  • Positions and fastens all required hardware and materials onto floats using wrenches, rubber mallets, and others appropriate tools, ensuring floats are comprised correctly;
  • Moves heavy materials periodically;
  • Digs, rakes, pries, drills, grinds, and hammers a variety of items; also ratchets rods and bolts tight;
  • Maneuvers around uneven ground and miscellaneous debris;
  • Works in various weather conditions;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
