Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Routine Maintenance:
Inspect and test machinery and equipment regularly.
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and Repair:
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Repair or replace defective parts to restore equipment functionality.
Installation and Assembly:
Install new machinery and equipment as required.
Assemble machine components and ensure proper setup.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Report any major issues or potential hazards to supervisors.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other mechanics and team members to address maintenance needs.
Provide support during equipment upgrades or modifications.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Notify supervisors of inventory needs and assist in procurement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
vast knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
The essential functions of this role include:
