Job Description:
Mohawk Valley Recycling is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver (Class A or B) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving various vehicles to transport metal materials and trailers within our facility. The position involves operating a flatbed tow truck, a Mack truck for hauling bins loaded with metal, and semi-trucks for moving trailers around the yard.
Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate flatbed tow trucks, Mack trucks, and semi-trucks to transport materials and trailers. - Ensure all loads are properly secured and meet safety regulations. - Drive vehicles around the yard and to local locations as needed. - Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. - Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications: - Valid Class A or B CDL license (required). - Experience driving flatbed tow trucks, Mack trucks, and semi-trucks (preferred). - Ability to safely load, unload, and secure metal materials. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
