Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers & Laborers, Crop, Nursery, Greenhouse to work in Herman, MN. From: 04/15/2025 to 11/13/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Employer may pay worker more depending on how many years of experience he/she has obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as job performance, skill, punctuality. Must Apply By: 7/31/2025 JOB DUTIES: Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate 4WD articulated tractors, tractor-drawn machinery such as field cultivator to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as corn, soybeans, sugar beets; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Must be able to speak and understand English. Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending and repetitive movements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate non-CDL driver's license and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
