We are looking for experienced Systems Administrator to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Systems Administrator with a minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our Windows-based infrastructure, including Active Directory, MySQL Server 2022, and other related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities will include but limited to:

  • Build, manage and maintain the organization s Windows based infrastructure

  • Ensure the security and integrity of the organization s data and systems, including compliance with customer security requirements

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

  • Collaborate with other teams, such as development and security, to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems

  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to the organization s infrastructure

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of the organization s migration to a cloud-based infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain the organization s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issue, using problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration documents, and troubleshooting guides

Required Skills

  • Experience working in a systems administration role, with a focus on Windows-based infrastructure

  • Strong technical skills including:

  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server

  • Knowledge of MySQL Server 2022

  • Familiarity with PowerShell and SQL Query language

  • Understanding of network fundamentals, database protocols, ports, patching, architecture, and devices

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

  • Familiarity with customer security requirements and compliance regulations

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • CompTIA Security or CISSP certification

  • Microsoft Certified System Administrator or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
