Summary of Position:

The Division of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery, Department of Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time faculty member. The selected candidate will primarily focus on abdominal wall reconstruction and hernia repair, but minimally invasive/general skills are required. Candidates with flexible endoscopy training are favored.

Position Highlights

  • Join a division of 6 fellowship-trained surgeons, 2 fellows and 4 APPs

  • 1 in 7 call covering service patients only (no emergency general surgery call)

  • Robotic block time, endoscopy blocks guaranteed

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent

  • BC/BE General Surgery

  • Fellowship training in Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and/or Minimally Invasive Surgery

  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
