Robert Half Medical Customer Service Rep in Hickory, North Carolina

Description

We are in search of a committed Medical Customer Service Representative for our Non-Profit organization based in Hickory, North Carolina, United States. This role is crucial in providing support to our customers by handling complaints, administering claims, and offering excellent customer service. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. This role will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-7pm, twice a month.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with diligence and professionalism

• Administer claims effectively to ensure customer satisfaction

• Utilize CRM, IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to manage customer interactions and maintain records

• Leverage Microsoft Outlook for effective communication and scheduling

• Execute billing functions accurately to ensure proper financial transactions

• Carry out benefit functions to provide customers with necessary information and services

• Maintain a high level of customer service by resolving customer issues promptly and accurately

• Utilize skills in complaint handling to address and resolve customer grievances

• Collaborate with team members to achieve overall organizational goals

• Continually improve knowledge and competence in the Medical Customer Service field.

Requirements • Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to manage and analyze customer interactions and data

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 systems to facilitate operations, data management, and customer service tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and report generation

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets

• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling

• Understanding of Benefit Functions to guide customers on their entitlements and benefits

• Knowledge of Billing Functions to facilitate customer billing inquiries and issues

• Experience in Claim Administration to aid customers in making, adjusting, or disputing claims

• Proficiency in Complaint Handling to resolve customer issues in a timely and empathetic manner

• Proven track record in providing excellent customer service in a medical or non-profit setting
