Wind Crest is a beautiful 84-acre continuing care retirement community located in Highlands Ranch, just 15 minutes southwest of Denver, Colorado. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are seeking a dedicated Program Assistant / Activities Coordinator to join our team within the Continuing Care sector, including skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living. As a Program Assistant I, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by engaging them in activities that stimulate their physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

Compensation: Up to $18.50-$19/hour

Schedule: Full Time, Sunday to Thursday, Day or Evening Shift, 40 hours / week

How you will make an impact:

  • Leading group and individual activities in both structured and impromptu in activity spaces, common areas, and in resident’s rooms.

  • Working collaboratively with other team members, volunteers, families and community groups.

  • Planning and preparing various activity programs.

  • Generating activity supply lists and maintain supplies and equipment.

  • Maintaining proper documentation including daily attendance sheets.

  • Participating in team discussions regarding activity programming, monthly calendars, activity and staff scheduling, and resident concerns.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Associates degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred, but not required

  • A passion for working with the elderly
