Senior Raw Material Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure Centric PLM is updated accurately, collect all necessary documents, and upload to PLM within specific deadlines

  • Develop new fabrics and ensure aesthetic and performance characteristics, under US design & Onshore Raw Material team guidance

  • Owns investigation of new trends and innovation research as identified by supervisor

  • Review new development’s quality, work with mill to provide mitigation solution based on cost, quality, or long lead time

  • Understands deadlines and ensures they are met. Actively track development, Sample yardage, and bulk fabric quality.

  • Review testing exceptions and escalate critical issues of non-conformance

  • Ensure 3rd party test reports are received on time and submitted to the Raw Material team to verify marketing claims

  • Communicate PVH sustainable goals and initiatives with regional mills, and collect sustainable documents and data to ensure the goal is met

  • Understand the traceability process, train mills on the process, and collaborate with Traceability team to complete requested orders document upload in GI system

  • Responsible for tracking bulk status and reporting OTD to Onshore RM team on a regular basis

  • Identify process opportunities within the role and surface ideas for the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

  • University/College Graduate

  • 3–6 years of industry experience

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, computer literate

  • Knowledge of fundamentals of construction and finishing of textiles

  • Very good understanding and relationships on the RM supplier base in region and outside region

  • Must have a positive, optimistic "can do" attitude.
