Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Hoffman, MN. From: 03/16/2025 - 11/21/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day 8:00am - 5:00pm. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 07/20/2025 JOB DUTIES: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Farming with: Canola, Corn, Soybeans, Spring Wheat Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience; Valid Driver's License or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.; Able to lift 60lbs; Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting; No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
