- Install, configure, and maintain business systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems;
- Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure security and functionality;
- Manage and maintain databases related to manufacturing operations, inventory, supply chain, and customer information;
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting regular audits and updates;
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline manufacturing and business processes;
- Integrate business systems with production machinery and other equipment to enhance operational efficiency;
- Ensure seamless integration of business systems with other software and hardware used in the manufacturing process;
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their system requirements and provide solutions;
- Implement security measures to protect business systems from cyber threats and data breaches;
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT and data management;
- Monitor the performance of business systems and optimize them for speed and efficiency;
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to minimize downtime;
- Lead and manage IT projects related to the implementation and upgrading of business systems;
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system procurement and implementation;
- Evaluate and select new business systems and tools that align with company needs;
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in IT and manufacturing;
- Ensure regular backups and conduct periodic tests of recovery procedures;
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for business systems;
- Provide technical support to employees for business systems, resolving issues and answering queries;
- Conduct training sessions for staff on how to use business systems effectively; and
- Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, system usage, performance, and business metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering or other closely related field of study;
- Experience in handling business systems;
- Knowledge and skills in maintaining, configurating, and installing business systems; and
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills;
