Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in the entertainment industry, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform data entry and maintain updated records in the accounting software.
Support the senior accounting staff in various accounting projects and tasks.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, correspondence, and other clerical tasks.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
