Senior Application Platform Middleware and Integration Architect
Overview
Senior Application Platform Middleware and Integration Architect will be focused on all aspects of enablement of new services for middleware and application modernization, new services in integration, orchestration, BPM, Event Driven Space
Sr Architect will also be hands on and contribute to enablement as owner or as Individual Contributor, works closely with Solution Architects, Engineering teams and Development groups to advocate the value identified in new platform service models and contribute to engineering.
You Will:
As a Middleware and integration architect Identifies, publishes and technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmaps to be used throughout the IT organization to guide technology decisions and leverage efficiency opportunities. Drives design for a secure, efficient, and adaptable future state model.
Researches and recommends opportunities to adopt new technologies. Analyzes the impact of implementing new technologies into the platform and application space.
Proactively researches and participates in POC, IT platform architecture and security best practices and methodologies and determines relevancy to the Visitant IT and business organizations. May participate in the life cycle planning of existing IT assets.
Assists Solution Architects, and Product Owner in matching technology services to specific business service and application development projects to ensure consistent use throughout the enterprise.
Identifies and leverages opportunities across BTS departments to ensure a consistent and efficient platform framework.
Create a documentation, ADR's and use case diagram to clarify solution scope
Special projects as assigned
Defines platform technology standards, guidelines and frameworks
Analyzes trade-offs associated with granting exceptions and waivers to technology and process standards
You Have:
15+ years of designing/engineering/architecting experience recommending platform solutions/frameworks across multiple platforms…technically competent in few of the following disciplines:
Problem Solving,
Language- Java, Python
Containerization/ IAAC - Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AWS services
Security - IAM, Strong understanding of platform security AuthN and AuthZ
Middleware - WAS, MQ, Tomcat
Framework- Spring Boot, Apache Camel, OSS
Bachelor’s degree or MS in computer science or equivalent technical experience, AWS Architect certification and or Insurance experience is a plus
Location & Travel:
- 2 Days a week at our Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ
Salary Range
$114,080.00 - $187,415.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
