Description

We are offering a unique Accounts Payable position in the construction/contractor industry in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role involves key functions related to accounts payable and is located in a dynamic workplace. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring all transactions are carried out efficiently and accurately.

• Verifying, coding, and processing accounts payable, maintaining a high level of detail to guarantee accuracy.

• Scan and enter invoices into our system, ensuring data is entered correctly and in a timely manner.

• Print and mail checks to vendors, ensuring timely payment of invoices.

• Maintain vendor files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

• Review vendor statements regularly, helping to maintain good relationships with our vendors.

• Complete monthly accruals, ensuring all financial records are updated at the end of each month.

• Assist with payroll tasks as needed, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Reconcile Vendor Statements, Vendor Statements, Viewpoint Vista, and Payroll to perform job functions efficiently.

Requirements • Proven experience in the role of Accounts Payable Clerk within the construction/contractor industry.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP).

• Ability to conduct check runs efficiently and accurately.

• Experience in coding invoices and processing them in a timely manner.

• Exceptional data entry skills with attention to detail.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to reconcile vendor statements effectively.

• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software.

• Experience in handling payroll within the construction/contractor industry.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
