Queen's Health System QHI Clinical Operations Manager (Full-Time, Days) in Honolulu, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the daily operations and directs the administration, management, coordination and integration of programs, regarding patient care activities and services of assigned clinic and/or program(s).

• Serves as the leader of the department in the absence of the Manager.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Continuous: lifting up to ½ lb., seeing, hearing, talking, grasping, fingering, standing, walking, stooping, forward reaching, handling.

• Frequent: pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds of force, lifting up to 10 lbs., sitting, bending.

• Occasional to frequent: squatting, twisting.

• Occasional: pushing and pulling up to maximum 50 pounds of force; lifting: horizontal lift/carry up to maximum 50 pounds; floor to waist up to 35 lbs., waist to shoulder up to 25 lbs., overhead level up to 15 lbs.; carrying up to 35 lbs, running, climbing, side bending, kneeling, crouching, overhead reaching.

• Operates various equipment/machines/tools/work aids.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

• Exposure to body fluids, blood products and communicable diseases.

• Work environment is fast-paced and may be stressful.

• Frequently works on multiple tasks and priorities at any given time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.

• Master’s degree highly desirable.

• Current Hawaii license as a Registered Nurse.

• Current CPR certification in BLS/HCP.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• Three (3) years progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in any combination of the following: physician’s practice, health clinic operations, and acute care facility.

• One (1) year supervisory/leadership experience in an outpatient setting or related medical field.

• Prior experience to demonstrate ability to work effectively with physicians.
