Description
Robert Half is seeking an HR Generalist for one of their clients in the Healthcare industry. The role is based in Hood River, Oregon, and will be a hybrid work environment, with a 1-day per week in-office requirement. As an HR Generalist you would play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions and processes.
• Coordinate corporate recruiting efforts to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage all aspects of employee relations, addressing issues and concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Oversee benefit functions, including verifying insurance benefits, to ensure employees receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
• Implement employee training programs to ensure workers have the skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization to address employee needs and foster a positive work environment.
• Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes to ensure legal compliance and support for employees during leave.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate employee records.
• Establish and maintain effective "win-win" working relationships with employees and managers, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
• 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist
• Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now software
• Proficiency in managing and executing benefit functions
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations within healthcare industry
• Experience in handling employee relations and conflicts
• Knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
• Proven track record in corporate recruiting within healthcare industry
• Ability to conduct and manage employee training programs
• Skilled in verifying and managing insurance benefits
• Familiarity with insurance benefits within the healthcare sector
