Job Skills / Requirements

Reporting to the Account Manager, this position is the first ranking on-site Contractor Management Representative.

Schedule

Sat - OFF

Sun - OFF

Mon - 6am-2pm

Tues - 6am-2pm

Wed - 6am-2pm

Thurs - 6am-2pm

Fri - 6am-2pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the professional development of the Security and Safety Services Team through effective retention and professional development programs.

  • Complete assigned administrative functions and ensure the accurate and timely submission of Incident Reports, Daily Reports, Weekly Payroll, Personnel Actions, Continuing Education Training, Schedules and all other essential paperwork.

  • Know all company Policies and Procedures outlined in UPS Post Orders, Rules and Regulations Handbook, and be able to communicate this knowledge to employees

  • Maintain all company equipment in a proper manner and insure all items are functioning and clean.

  • Provide constructive criticism to employees as needed.

  • Maintain a filing system of all security related paperwork.

  • Report and investigate all employee related accidents or injuries and maintain a proactive stance to a safe work environment.

  • Complete a weekly report to be forwarded to the Branch Office.

  • Active patrol and other duties as assigned by property specific requirements

  • Other duties as assigned per property specific requirements

  • Trains new officers on facility awareness.

Desirable Background

  • A combination of formal education, training and skills generally acquired by and individual with solid, verifiable work experience preferably in a Mixed Use Facility, Law Enforcement or Military environment coupled progressive managerial, supervisory, leadership and / or public relations experience.

  • A clear disciplinary record is preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain and subsequently maintain professional certifications as required.

  • Practical knowledge of law enforcement procedures, technical writing, civil law, criminal law, security procedures, investigative procedures, training programs and personnel management.

  • Physically mobile and in possession of senses so as to successfully perform requirements of the position.

  • May be required to use tactical equipment and wear prescribed uniform or company equipment.

  • Excellent written and clear, efficient verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work with the public effectively, tactfully and safely.
