Texas State Job Bank Shift Supervisor in Houston, Texas

Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Manager to oversee our youth care home. The ideal candidate will

possess a strong background in resident rights, trauma informed care, and crisis management. This leadership role requires a

compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents while ensuring operational

excellence within the facility.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the youth care home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

Foster a supportive environment that prioritizes resident rights and dignity.

Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Develop and manage budgets effectively to ensure financial stability and growth.

Collaborate with staff to implement best practices in trauma informed care and TBRI.

Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and teamwork.

Engage with residents and their families to address concerns and enhance their overall experience.

Monitor performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Experience

Proven leadership experience in childcare or related fields is essential.

Strong understanding of resident rights, trauma informed care practices, and home community care principles.

Experience in medication administration protocols and training staff on these processes.

Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.

Background in residential treatment or related disciplines is preferred

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.

Work Week:

8-hour shift

40 per week
