nVent Technical Customer Service Representative in Houston, Texas

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Act as the first point of contact for fielding support inquiries and resolving customer issues via telephone and e-mail for the nVent Nuheat product line. You will handle 25 calls a day and 15 emails a day on average
Provide product knowledge and tech expertise to customers both internal and external
Troubleshoot product issues with customers and contractors who are on the job site
Collaborate with other departments to assist with troubleshooting and find solutions
Review return requests relative to guidelines and provide authorization for items that are deemed defective
YOU HAVE:
Ideally, 1+ years in electrical or technical troubleshooting is an asset
Experience troubleshooting electrical devices and network-connected devices is a plus
Strong communication/interpersonal skills especially over the phone and over email
Knowledge of an ERP system for quotes to customers is a plus
Advanced computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working in a team environment
Ability to use problem-solving skills to assist customers
