Tinmar, Inc. Class A Welder / Fitter in Huntsville, Alabama
Class A, TIG and MIG welder with at least 5 years experience
This position is responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
Must be able to submit test specimens which will pass testing to obtain certifications to AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2, AWS D1.6, ADS D9.1 and AWS D17.1 and able to work with minimal supervision.
Summary
As a Class A Welder/Fitter, you will be integral to our fabrication team, responsible for interpreting blueprints and executing precise welding tasks using MIG and TIG techniques. Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in welding, hand tools, and basic math to ensure high-quality production.
