Team (Project) Introduction The ISSE project provides system security engineering expertise in support of VA IT applications and infrastructure. This includes project management, risk management, strategic planning support for enterprise systems and modernization as well as implementation, cloud services support, technical analysis of documentation, publications and handbooks, technical analysis of new policies and emerging technologies to include implementation and training support, systems integration and implementation to include the analysis of program security deficiencies and application integration monitoring through the governance process, multimedia communications and outreach, operations and services support, information and cybersecurity training, administrative support, follow the product line management (PLM) process, Assessment and Authorization support, and system security engineering support. We are responsible for promoting security as part of the system engineering development life cycle and required engineering activities.

9th Way Insignia is looking for a Level 2, Consultant, Program Analyst to join this team.

Professional Level The Program Analyst position aligns as Consultant with 9th Way Insignia. A Consultant completes tasks and projects of moderate scope and complexity. A Consultant exercises best judgement and problem-solving skills within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action to execute assignments. As a consultant, you may provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals as well as offer support to other employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Works closely with the Program Manager to develop and maintain the overall project schedule and milestones. Supports sub teams by producing assignment schedules and supporting customer and team meetings, to include meeting scheduling and taking minutes. Monitors the project schedule and supports the tracking of contract deliverables to ensure teams remain on schedule Supports team members and the project manager by completing standard and ad hoc reports Collaborate with team members within a highly collaborative Agile-Scrum (SAFe) Track team compliance with contract training requirements Support the onboarding and orientation of new staff members to the project team Generates briefing materials for standard and ad hoc briefings with team and customers Document review and editing Supporting meetings with documenting meeting minutes Track calendars for Senior Leadership

Requirements

2 years of relevant experience supporting programs and teams by creating, applying and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data. Must have experience in the creation of routine and ad hoc reports. Must be able to provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms. Associates or Bachelors Degree in a Business discipline / 2 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S Must be able to attain and maintain the required public trust (tier 4) clearance

Preferred/Desired

Be able to work independently with general supervision. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of technical writing experience (preferred)

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $47,794.50 - $65,000.
