Skyview Dairy Farmworker in Hutchinson, Minnesota
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers to work in Hutchinson, MN. From: 03/11/2025 - 12/01/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon- Sat. 8 hrs./day 8:00am - 4:30pm All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 07/25/2025 Job Duties: Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as pay loader, skid steer, spreader, swather, rake, baler to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn, hay, silage; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Haul and spread manure, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; Valid driver's license or able to obtain it within 30 days of hire; Exposure to extreme temperatures; Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking; Frequent stooping, bending; Repetitive movements; Able to lift 75lbs.; Able to speak and understand English; No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
