Job Description:

We are looking for our next Business Executive to support the Managing Director for NA, providing outstanding support across several key areas, ensuring the MD is prepared and organised for strategic priorities, and keeping an effective operating rhythm across the wider leadership team.

You will be the MD's right hand person, being one step ahead, ensuring the MD is prepared for meetings and has the required briefing documents ahead of board meetings, executive team meetings and senior leadership conferences.

You will provide support on key strategic initiatives and own the operating cadence at the Sr. leadership level, having holistic coordination across the full spectrum of operational activities and strategic initiatives.

You will be accountable for efficient decision making and execution through to the continuous prioritization of actions, proper process, and effective communications.

This is a highly visible role whereby you will be introduced to the business in its entirety, from strategy and decision-making at the highest levels of the organization and fostering close working relationships with senior management across Sages global business.

Naturally, you will be a highly proactive individual, comfortable navigating a dynamic and fast-paced organisation, and experienced with managing day-to-day operational requirements at a tactical level.

This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with the Sage Leadership team, gaining direct exposure to the business and serving as a development opportunity, providing a springboard after 18-24 months to pivot in a broader role within Sage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic partner to the MD & trusted advisor covering a range of critical business matters.

• Run the office of MD, embedding an effective planning cycle & ensuring successful delivery of strategic objectives.

• Ensure MD is prepared for all meetings and has required briefing documents, ensuring a high level of quality in all meeting materials.

• Maintain leadership team cadence and high-quality planning, ensuring that meetings and site visits are proactive, planned and delivered.

• Join relevant meetings where decisions are made and actions determined to ensure outcomes are recorded, accountabilities are made clear, tracked and delivered on time.

• Act as a delegate for the MD working alongside direct reports on specific projects; reviewing deliverables ahead of submission to MD to ensure quality.

• Gather content for and write papers / materials for board meetings, executive team meetings, senior leadership conferences etc.

• Partner with Comm Ops Leadership team, PBP, FBP, to ensure high quality materials are produced to give visibility into progress of strategic priorities, enabling MD to report progress to executive leadership team.

• Build and manage effective relationships with all stakeholders, in particular Commercial Operations and Performance leaders, leaders across the Product, Go to Market and Technology communities, other BE’s, regional stakeholders and all support functions.

Skills, know-how and experience:

• Demonstrable delivery record in a consultancy/strategy or project-oriented business environment with strong analytical skills.

Strong project management skills

• Analytical and critical thinker with the ability to challenge conventional thinking & solve complex business challenges.

• Experience working with deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders especially senior leadership; execution driven.

• High curiosity, learning agility and continuous improvement mindset.

• Strong ability to quickly absorb and collate large amounts of information, process and make decisions working across multiple topics simultaneously.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence across the organization with a varying range of people and cultures.

Minimum Experience:

10 Years + Experience

Experience in strategic planning & execution

Previous experience with working with business partner network

Must be willing to travel, regionally and internationally

Highly autonomous with the ability to work on own initiative

Strong customer focus, Executive focus and high-level customer
