Position Title: Multi-level IT Software Spec

Work Location: Town

Shift Schedule: Monday Thursday 4x10s

Salary Grade: 15 Salary Range: Min \$73,075 Mid \$91,055 Max \$113,665

Salary Grade: 16 Salary Range: Min \$82,355 Mid \$102,650 Max \$128,170

Salary Grade: 17 Salary Range: Min \$92,785 Mid \$115,985 Max \$144,985

Position Purpose:

The IT Software Specialist will be responsible for performing analysis, design, development, documentation, unit testing and software deployment. Individual must be able to interpret and follow regulatory requirements, related procedures and adhere to standards. In this position the IT Software Spec employs software engineering principles, methods, and techniques to a wide range of processes. This position requires a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively with other developers, support staff and customers in solving technical problems.

The individual will be required to perform the following duties:

Expert developer with good skills in math and complex formulas

Work with customers to define software requirements for application modifications.

Work collaboratively with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Perform database analysis and design including data manipulation and retrieval.

Program in current languages, tools and technologies that include but are not limited to: SQL Server, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and C#.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

Bachelor\'s degree in an Information Technology related discipline plus,

Salary Grade 15: 2 years of relevant experience.

Salary Grade 16: 5 years of relevant experience.

Salary Grade 17: 8 years of relevant experience.

3 or more years of experience and high proficiency with C#, .NET framework, .NET Core, JavaScript, SQL Server, and similar full-stack software development technologies in crafting and maintaining applications, to include: web apps, web services, and integrations.

3 or more years of responsibilities for software analysis and development with knowledge and experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including: requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support.

Special Requirements/Training:

Experience working with DevOps tools such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps, and/or similar tools.

Experience with mobile development in .NET MAUI or similar platforms.

Familiarity in developing applications under NQA-1 Quality and Section 508 Compliance Standards.

Position Responsibilities:

Software Programming Must be able to develop new and modify existing program software management systems and applications.

Software Analysis The developer will be responsible for conducting analysis of the software requirements and will determine which forms and/or software will be affected by the requested change.

Software Design The design must satisfy all the software requirements identified.

Testing Developer will perform unit testing of software changes, to verify all changes were successfully implemented.

Verbal and written communication Must be able to communicate well with other groups within IT, application owners and other internal and external organizations that use existing software.
