Naval Sea Systems Command ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in Indian Head, Maryland

Summary You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist (Equipment Specialist) in the In Service Engineering Branch (E25) of the CAD PAD Division (E2) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. Responsibilities You will provide assistance as a technical advisor to coordinate the work of a number of organizations engaged in various CAD/PAD, energetic and ordnance components systems. You will assist with monitoring the identifications/descriptions/ classifications and performance level determinations made regarding items of complete CAD/PAD, energetic and ordnance components systems. You will coordinate the evaluation of design, configuration and engineering changes for major components of modified CAD/PAD systems, level of maintenance/materials required to effect the changes. You will coordinate the disposition of parts removed, and the documentation requirements concerning the change. You will provide/coordinate technical support to procurement personnel regarding the packages concerning complete CAD/PAD, energetic and ordnance components systems, groups of commodity, or several subsystems. You will be responsible for making the necessary changes and revisions to any related equipment maintenance programs with the goal of publishing the CAD/PAD NA 11-100-1.1 Manual. You will assist with the production of CAD/PAD Manual(s) and any related maintenance programs by identifying and solving problems related to the data within. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing blueprints, work orders, engineering change orders or manuals to develop or edit publications or reports in support of energetic devices or ordnance systems. For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, engineering change orders or manuals to assist with the development of publications and/or reports in support of energetic devices or ordnance systems.
