Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to become part of our team located in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role is in the Non-Profit industry and involves handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing applications. As a Customer Service Representative, you will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all basic customer service functions and provide support to customers

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of integrated and non-integrated EDI orders

• Handle and resolve all customer complaints and claims

• Collaborate with the freight forwarder/carrier to file relevant claims and recover costs of damages/losses

• Utilize various technologies for daily job duties, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce

• Maintain up-to-date department files and manage data and sensitive information with discretion

• Use knowledge of our product and service offerings to solve customer problems

• Collaborate and communicate professionally with customers, staff, and other stakeholders

• Report any departmental concerns to the Customer Service Manager

• Undertake other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role.

• Demonstrable experience in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls efficiently.

• Proficient in call center customer service, with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer queries effectively.

• Strong customer service skills, with a passion for providing high-quality support to clients and stakeholders.

• Proven data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience with email correspondence, able to communicate professionally and clearly via email.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

• Experience in order entry, capable of processing customer orders accurately and promptly.
