Key Responsibilities:

As a

Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in supporting the upkeep of industrial machinery and general facility maintenance. Your duties will include:

• Performing maintenance and repairs on electromechanical packaging machines, air compressors, tray formers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures, working with team members to identify root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Installing modifications, upgrades, and improvements to machinery as directed by management.
• Adhering to preventative maintenance schedules and maintaining accurate documentation of service activities.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, and service machinery to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with Plant and Maintenance Managers to support continuous improvement efforts.

What Were Looking For:

• A valid drivers licenseis required.
• 3-5 years of experiencein a plant mechanic or maintenance role.
• Proficiency in stick weldingand fabricationis essential; electrical experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and MSHAsafety regulations.
• Forklift certificationis a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work overtimeas needed to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, and stretching.
• Safely operate equipment, including a sky jack(up to 22 feet).
• Possess good hearing and vision to identify equipment issues and details.
