Data Center Management:

The Contractor shall provide management of the MPE Data Center to include providing guidance for data center project work such as installation, moves, decommissions, cabling and power of Data Center equipment including servers and other hardware. Initial location for this requirement is Wiesbaden, Germany.

The Contractor shall:

⦁ Prepare plans for development and installation of data center according to present 5 and future requirements.

Currently hold at a minimum and Active Secret with the ability to obtaining and maintain a TS/SCI

⦁ Monitor: all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards and systems; all activities related to analysis and implement all data center plans; and coordinate HVAC and cooling events with all parties supporting data center operations to include both internal and external stakeholders.

⦁ Administer: installation and maintenance of organization data center; third-party service agreements for the facility infrastructure systems to include emergency generators, UPS and battery systems, RPPs, electrical switch gear, to ensure the contracted services are being provided in a timely manner and in accordance with contract specifications.

⦁ Supervise designing and evaluation of all server systems according to measurement of process.

⦁ Perform troubleshoot on data center, identify issues and assist in timely resolution of same.

⦁ Manage and perform research to design new advanced data center.

⦁ Ensure adherence to all established guidelines and management practices for employees.

⦁ Coordinate and Optimize cable management and connection efforts with various departments to maintain strict cable appearance and integration into the data center devices, and with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into infrastructure.

⦁ Maintain expert knowledge: on all applications and its use on systems for various critical systems; on all business procedures associate with assets and capacity.

⦁ Ensure client satisfaction and provide optimal level of customer services for various departments.

⦁ Monitor all functional resources required for growth and ensure appropriate working.

⦁ Manage data center equipment rack elevations and Multi-Tiered Space/Floor plans.

⦁ Provide multi-dimensional data center power management.

⦁ Support of high / low level design planning to ensure team’s delivery of implementation services, strategic project implementations.

⦁ Develop long term roadmap and strategy for support and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

⦁ Develop Data Center Solutions based on state-of-the-art all-programmable FPGAs/SoCs working closely with engineering counterparts and architects.

⦁ Provide active management of the Data Center ecosystem and strategic partnerships including investment analysis and recommendations.

⦁ Review and Identify Connection capacity to WAO (Wall area outlets) and ISP (Inside Plant) for connections supporting EUCOM campus and data center services.

⦁ Perform and schedule tests on data center critical components for health checks and optimization analysis yearly according to industry best practices.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
