Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler to join our team for a 1st Shift schedule from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday (9/80 Schedule). The ideal candidate should be comfortable working overtime as needed. This position plays a crucial role in providing reliable, low EMI tactical power systems for the US military.
Responsibilities
Experience with circular connectors.
Perform various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering.
Consult production schedule to prepare work area and equipment.
Gather components needed to meet production schedules.
Set up equipment and solder components together.
Complete projects by smoothing rough edges of products.
Document production totals and any errors.
Clean work area and equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work with a microscope for 5% of the time.
Essential Skills
3-5+ years of soldering experience (including SMT, thru-hole, and cable soldering).
Experience with SMT (Surface-Mount Technology).
Proficiency in assembly, soldering, and electronic assembly.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
J-STD-001 or IPC 610 certification (certificates can be expired for up to 2-3 years if the candidate has continued electromechanical assembly/soldering work).
Ability to follow instructions and read equipment manuals.
Extensive knowledge of soldering processes and techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with IPC 620 is a plus.
Knowledge of surface-mount technology and electronics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
