Cabela's Part Time Banquet Server in Islamorada, United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
Banquet servers are responsible for setting up events entirely and accommodating all guests at a function while circulating the room. Anticipating and providing for the needs of the guests while upholding banquet standards and following company policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up event spaces; flatware, napkins, centerpieces, glassware, arranging table placement, and building buffets.
Focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds.
Delivers courses of plated meals quickly/professionally while following service standards.
Always adhere to health and safety standards.
Follows directions efficiently and maintains positivity/energy during their shifts.
Complete their tasks in a timely manner and check out with the supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certificate(s) or License(s): Upon onboarding you must obtain food handlers and alcohol servsafe certificates.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid license and pass the necessary requirements of the company to drive company vehicles to our off-property banquet venues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.
Seldom/Never sits or does computer work.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
