BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for Mechanical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

· Designing mechanical systems to improve line productivity & product quality.

· Preparing installation guides for technicians who will assemble new designs.

· Specifying tolerances for new design equipment, tools and parts

· Choosing materials and analysing treatments and coatings according to designs.

· Choosing standard mechanical components (pneumatic cylinders, guides, Bearings, Etc.)

· Archiving design files in the SAP and network system.

· Drawing updates & coordination with HQ and Local Plant.

· Member for Improvement Projects & 8D Teams

Requirements

· At least 2 years of experience in similar positions

· Manufacturing Processes

· Machine elements

· Machining processes

· Good CAD knowledge and ability

· Mechanical design fundamentals

· ISO 9001:2000, ISO-TS 16949

· MS Office

· SAP

· AutoCAD

· PTC Direct Modelling, 3DS Solidworks or any other 3D CAD Program

· Turkish and English
