BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven person to join as Mechanical Design Engineer at our Manufacturing Plant in Izmir.

Responsibilities ​

• Design in g mechanic al systems to improve l in e productivity & product quality.

• Prepar in g in stallation guides for technicians who will assemble new designs .

• Specify in g tolerances for new design equipment, tools and parts

• Choos in g materials and analys in g treatments and coat in gs accord in g to designs.

• Choos in g standard mechanic al components (pneumatic cyl in ders, guides, Bear in gs, Etc.)

• Archiv in g design files in the SAP and network system.

• Draw in g updates & coord in ation with HQ and Local Plant.

• Member for Improvement Projects & 8D Teams.

  Education & Experience

• M in . bachelor's degree in mechanic al eng in eer in g , Mechatronics or in a similar field;

• +2 years of experience in similar positions;

• Good CAD tool knowledge and expertise in 2D/3D modell in g ( e.g. AutoCAD, Catia);

• Strong understand in g of mechanic al design in manufactur in g processes;

• Experience with a fully automated manufactur in g assembly l in e (robotic tools);

• Understand in g of material characteristics;

• Fluency in English
