Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Dates of need are 9/1/2024-10/31/2024. This order is for work in Rupert, Idaho area. Applicant `MUST HAVE` 20 days experience as a general farm worker/irrigator/Agricultural Equipment Operators and the name and number of the reference who has first hand knowledge and can verify the workers experience. \$16.54 per hour. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092\ Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse; and SOC Code 45-2091\ Agricultural Equipment Operators, and are related to the production of potatoes, sugar beets,\ corn, hay, wheat, and barley. The majority of the work activities during the overall contract\ period, however, will be related to truck driving.\ Work will include the following responsibilities: drive, load/unload Ag exempt, non CDL\ semi/10-wheel trucks; transport crops to/from market/storage; backup trucks in tight\ maneuvering conditions; climb in and out of trucks/truck beds/trailers several times a day;\ transported product in a timely manner; responsible for keeping trucks in working order; report\ malfunctions to mechanic/supervisor; wash/clean/maintain trucks and trailers; check vehicle to\ ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; watch\ gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure truck is working properly; inspect truck\ equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water and\ maintain/replace/replenish as needed.
