Volt Management Corp. IT Support Specialist 428388 Remote in Jackson, Mississippi

This Remote Position is for an IT Support Specialist.

Summary: This medical technology company is looking for an IT Support Specialist for onsite support. You will provide support of all PC, Network, Server hardware and Software Applications included but not limited to: Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, Junos Pulse, Active Directory, LANDesk Application Deployment, MDT Imaging for PCs, Cisco Network Hardware, Facility Cabling, RF Equipment, and various end user applications and computing devices. You will receive direction for more complex issues from Lead Administrators or management.

Duties and Responsibilities: Provides troubleshooting on technology equipment and deployments as needed. May participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implements prototypes. Provides setup, deployment, and support of mobile devices. Monitors on-site IS Systems, including backups, UPS, and server/network equipment. Provide remote support for facilities and associates (VPN support). Maintain, support, and configure warehouse devices (Printers, RF Units, Terminals, etc.). Engages with external vendors for support and services. Conducts end user training and learning sessions with associates. Assists in technology planning and budgeting, maintenance of technical documentation, and identification of process improvement opportunities. Maintains listing of spare inventory and electronic waste. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma required; Associates or Technical school degree preferred.

 1-2 years' experience providing IS Support including network and application troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Lotus Notes and LANDesk technologies. Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and adapt to changing environment. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to travel up to 15% of time.

Preferred: Jave experience designing safety-critical software, utilizing RTCA DO-178C, DO-254 or a similar process. Have experience with C++, C#, or Python languages for PC application software. Have experience programming in VHDL. Have experience with Design for Manufacture and Design for Test (DFM & DFT). Have experience designing or troubleshooting PCB system hardware.

The Payrate is between $22.00 and $26.00 per hour. (Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.)
