Are you a detail-oriented and passionate professional with a can-do attitude? If so, this opportunity is for you! Our customer, an engineering and manufacturing company that designs, prototypes, and produces commercial and military products is looking to add to their team.
In this role, you should be able to edit programs at the machine as well as through CAM software. You should be comfortable in a sometimes fast-paced prototype environment as well as long series production. We are a close-knit team of engineers and machinists, and we are looking for a senior team member who is both a mentor and a learner. You should be willing and able to share your skills and knowledge, and you should also be open to learning from others. We value a great communicator with a positive attitude to work and life in general.
salary: $25 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist / Programmer is responsible for efficiently programming, setting up, and proving out programs on multi-axis Haas Mills and Haas Lathes (with live tooling and bar-feeder) to support our daily production and prototyping demands.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 4 hours at one time
Skills
CNC Operation (5 years of experience is required)
CNC Setup (5 years of experience is required)
CNC Programming (2 years of experience is required)
SolidWorks CAM/CAMWorks
Editing G and M Codes
ERP systems
GDT
ISO9000/AS9100
