We are seeking experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics specializing in ductboard to join our team for a 6+ week project located in Jacksonville, FL. This project offers a steady work schedule with the potential for overtime based on the project's needs.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork systems using ductboard

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

• Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards

• Work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in HVAC sheet metal work, particularly with ductboard installation

• Own set of tools necessary for the job

• Ability to follow instructions, read blueprints, and interpret technical documents

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Reliable transportation and punctuality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying project demands

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
