This position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials, per specifications in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Monitoring machine performance and efficiency are essential. This individual will have a great deal of flexibility and will be able to adapt to changing production needs. This position will require fork truck certification and a clear driving record.

REPORTS TO: Director of Quality

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance, the primary role of the Corporate Quality Administrator is to support the administrative duties associated with the maintenance of the Quality Management System, 3rd party and customer requirements as well as support the facilities administratively and provide assistance with calibration activities and field service visits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associates or 2-year technical training preferred.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Quality related or administrative

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to and supports all Safety protocols.

  • Responsible for the completion of customer questionnaires or self-assessments as applicable. This may include gathering information from departments and functions outside of Quality.

  • Administrative duties related to the document control system, which may include the creation, review and release of documents as requested. Works with the Corporate Quality Manager, the Director of Quality or the Director responsible for the document to address any concerns about document content or consistency from facility to facility.

  • Assist plant level Calibration technicians with 3rd party calibration requirements and/or coordination to ensure consistency and cost control.

  • Assists the Site Quality Engineers with Field service coordination activities which may include coordinating rental equipment and travel itinerary arrangements.

  • Collects and manages STI Paperwork - All Sites

  • Compiles and distributes Weekly Huddle info for all sites.

  • Assists with the company wide communications that may include Quality Alerts, Quality concerns, internal defects, and customer escapes.

  • Ability to travel/perform work at other facilities or customer locations as
