Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer
Job Description
A Sr. Project Engineer is tasked with designing and developing project-specific electric power Balance of Plant solutions that align with customer specifications, proposal documents, and required codes/standards. The role involves close collaboration with customers and internal business partners to develop cost-effective solutions while ensuring manufacturability at each step. The ideal candidate will lead both mechanical and electrical system design and development, solve customer problems by creating unique power generation solutions, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Hard Skills
Product development
Knowledge/experience with Balance of Plant solutions (BoP)
Understanding of North American power generation standards and regulations
Inventor 3D software experience
Soft Skills
Ability to read and interpret Electrical Power generation system specifications
Strong collaboration skills
Leadership in system design and development
Problem-solving in creating power generation solutions
Work Environment
The role is part of a new foundational team focused on power generation, helping to drive the vision to become an integrator of complete systems. The engineering department has recently moved into a modernly designed building extension. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
